94 S4, 95000km. Suddenly it wouldn't start. Wet spark plugs- replaced. Ignition on all plugs. No fuel to syl. Where is pump located? In pass tank? Near ECM on right side? Relays and fuses seems ok. Fuel manually between chargecooler and inlet, then it startet. How do I bypass the relay- and do i need to bypass more than one(wich 3 relays?-poor handbook.) I've read this in the forum. Do I need to buy complete ECM, or would a new chip fiks the bug?

I had a similar experience with my 90SE. Open the rear hatch, open the cover the covers the electical components, the easiest part to work on in the rear hatch. You should see a bank of relays and fuses. Test these fuses. If they are all good, have a friend try to start the car while you tap GENTLY with a rubber hammer. Mine started right up. The connector that went to the fuse that serves the fuel pump had corroded a little. A simple cleaning and a little crimp on the electrical connection and I was back in business. Hope this helps.

If your gonna joyride the 'ring. Make sure you have fire exting, helmets, and anything else you can afford. Two ferrari chat members were killed 2 weeks ago joyriding the ring with no safety equipment. They flipped, burned, and died. Dont let this happen to you.

Yes it was terrible. From what I understand a driver who did not have much track experience and a woman he met on the internet he was having a date with. No doubt trying to show what the car could do. Too bad.

Found out that i little knock on the fuel pump located in right fuel tank fixed it. It seemed like it was a little stuck. But after 1month, I had the same problem. A little knock, and it started again? Anybody kvow if the fuel pump is expensive? Or if it is possible to fix it?
