Wiggly Rear View

If you means it wont stay where it's put then you have had it. It's such a crap design. The ratchet is a cast piece of metal and if it breaks off ( like mine has ) then I can see no way to fix it other than buy a whole new metal assembly.

That's odd.... using glue that is. My passenger mirror also came loose and wobbled. It was on the list of repairs at a recent dealer warranty-fest, but they did not get around to it and I decided I'd rather have the car for the weekend.
In any case, I took the door mirror off (which really wasn't necessary) and found it was a simple matter of tightening a screw which was part of the pivot. It's fine now and in most cases would take less than 5 minutes to perform the same procedure. Having had everything apart I'm not sure where one would put glue, unless it's for the mirror assembly to it's mouting ring.
Andy Whittaker also has a nice write-up on the mirror on his website complete with photos. I am thinking that the original vendor for the Mirror (Citroen?) might have changed the design a bit as well based on the write-up on Andy's site.
