I've just put on 951 miles on my SE in last two days with a fast trip to Scotland and back (this is more than it has done in last 3 years with PO).

The only problem occured with the occasional stall when coming to a stop after a prolonged high speed cruise. I'd traced this down to a dodgy tank of fuel from a service station in lake district, once drained and refilled with optimax no problems.

The car was superb if a little scary for the passenger in the wet, quite a few rear end antics under heavy accellation . In the dry one of quickest car I've driven over fast A roads.

All in all I'm impressed, the over downfall after 5 hours at the wheel I am now a cripple!

Congratulation, you broke my weekend mileage record. After more time in the car, believe it or not, it will get a lot more comfortable.

I did 2K the first weekend I had mine on the drive home. Longest stretch was from Atlanta to Chicago. Car drove very well and with the seats adjusted the ride was very good.

I just took my s4s for a 3-hour trip each way. No problem whatsoever, It is hard to keep cool though with so many rice-rockets and bigblocks continously provoking you. The car is a blast to drive and it does get much more confortable the more you drive it.
The only bad thing of a long trip like this is that it gets very dirty.

My '87 G is comfortable for about the first 500 miles, after that... On the milage record, I drove from Lake Geneva, WI to Western Mass. {Berkshires} in 28 1/2 hours with a one hour sleep stop somewhere in Canada,
in the neighborhood of 1000 miles. Driving through Canada at night, I was almost taken out from the game of life when I was cruising at 75 mph in the right lane when I looked in the drivers door mirror for no reason, and saw a tractor trailer signaling to the right lane along side me, dropped into third and was GONE! I know he probally didn't see me and it took at least an hour for my heart rate to get back to normal!

Onward to LOG 23!
