S3 clutch

Hi all, I need to replace the clutch on my 1982 S3 and would like to find out what other vehicle the clutch came from, or any manufacturers part numbers for the plate and cover. As I am in the motor trade I can't bring myself to pay £180 for a clutch !!

180£?#! Is that the friction plate only or is it the preassure-plate as well? Mabye you should check with another parts dealer.
I know that this is a Borg&Pratt and it was used on Volvo 164... I think I still got the original packing from when I changed on my S3, I can check for you if you are still interested.

Thanks for the reply Lasse. The price of £180 was for the plate and the cover, but not the bearing. I have just bought one from SJ sportcars but would still like to know what else it may have fitted ( if anything ) just for future reference.
Having also bought a whole load of engine parts as well, they make the clutch look good value for money.
