I've seen an easy fix in other cars, where you simply cut a small slit along the seam and take a can of spray glue with a straw, and squirt it into the headliner to re-apply.

Is there a "proper" way of doing this? The headliner is now completely sagging onto my head...a problem that basically happened in the span of a week.

Mike,
I'd recommend you use a heat resistant glue like Dunlop 1358, otherwise on a hot day your headliner will be resting on your head again.
Is it coming away from the sunroof panel?
If so, it might be best to get some new headlining material and recover it.
Kind regards
Alan

This past weekend I removed my fabric for the same reason. The foam under the fabric was completely rotted. Instead of fabric I'm going to lay a carbon/kevlar hybrid in its place. No more sagging for me.

Hey Cameron,
I ordered one yard of part # 1065-A from www.fibreglast.com along with one sheet of # 229-A balsa core material to build up the height. I should be finished by next weekend. I was planing on finishing this weekend, but time won't allow.
I did get the balsa and carbon/kevlar cut to shape last night, looks good so far. I did'nt know that mixes of kevlar and carbon existed until visiting this site. I always thought the choices were strait kevlar sheets or strait carbon.
If you will, give me a mail address and I will send some pics as soon as I finish this little project.

OK. Can you shed some light on why I can't see your reply? All I see is your quote.
