I have a 1990 SE Turbo and was wondering about increasing the boost.

What is the standard boost level?
How high can I go on the standard turbo and will the car fuel enough as it is, or do you have to chip it?
Is it a standard T3 and what are the specs?

any info would be much appreciated

To increase the HP as you want it you will have to reprogram or rechip. According to Marcus you can go well into the 300's with the stock set up.

Many people have upgraded to the S4s MkV chip and beyond with little trouble. Any turbo failure will probably be the result of an exisiting marginal turbo. Like one near the edge of failure towards the end of her useful life. Much like giving a lot of Viagra to an older fellow with a heart condition, at least it would be fun for a while.

Just use common sense. If you have a higher mileage Esprit like 60K of above, add more boost, and drive it real hard, like anything else it more than likely shorten the life of engine and her accessories.
