OK, I have 2 of the 3 bolts out but the third I can't get a wrench on.

Anyone got an idea how to get this one out short of raising the motor up?

It is back behind the motor mount.

How hard (time) is it to raise the motor 3-6 inches off the mounts?

I am trying to get the rear Freon tubes off the compressor to replace that part
which has a tube with a hole in it.

I am also removing the oil filter mount and cooler hoses to access the AC
pump and can't find the last bolt. Sounds kind of lame but from what I can tell in the manual drawing there are 4 bolts holding this part and I can only see 3. Is it under the motor mount? Are there just 3
bolts and I need to pry the part loose? Tried but it still feels
attached securely so I am looking for a 4th bolt.

Thx for the help!

Hi Dan,
I'm a little hazy on the bolt you speak of, but you can jack up the engine on one side a few inches if you undo one of the mounts and use a floor jack. That should give you the clearance you seek.

V8 engine removal is about 4-6 hours. Putting it back in correctly and wrestling with axle roll pins etc. is where the real fun is. I'd try undoing or removing the mount on the affected side if it's in the way first.
