Front Indicators on 88 Turbo

Some are Lucas and others are COBO's. Iam not sure about the US market but post 87 UK ones were definately COBO's. They weren't from any other model apart from an Morris Ital. I tried to track down the parts through this source and because Morris no longer exist (now Rover) they haven't even got the records anymore.
The older G shape UK cars had the Lucas ones which came from a mini clubman and an Austin Maxi so someone has just told me. Again records may be difficult to trace.
The COBO lens are still availible seperately for about £14 or $24 Each. The Lucas ones are no longer availible on their own in the UK and can only be obtained as a complete unit for about £70 or $120 Each.
I have also heard that the rear pieces off the COBO's are running out or have run out at the Lotus factory, so soon you'll have a problem with finding these parts.
I also heard that the COBO's along with the side indicators were used in the tractor industry! How true that is I don't know but it wouldn't surprise me.
