I'm biased towards the S4s wing myself, although it does block out the where the lightbar on a potential police cruiser behind me would be!

I declare the X180R wing the best. It has precisely the correct height, width and when put on the existing lip, the maximum possible down force with minimum drag per the equations for auto aerodynamics.

Everyone knows that the best Esprit wing is the one on my motor, the fabulous Sport350 aerofoil.

Esprit is also very beautiful without wing, just like Marcus's V8. I'll take mine S4s wing out, next time I do paint job.

I like the S4s/97 V8 wing.
Although I have heard it sometimes gets in the way getting things out of the trunk and when one has to get into the trunk to do work.

I'm a total sucker for my 93 SE wing. And taller, larger SE wing. After that, it would be the S4s hoop, then the new V-8 wing

I have and love the S4s wing, but it is not so nice when trying to get something out of the boot when it has been raining, the number of time I have stood up with a totaly soaked stomach!!!
Wish it had a high level brake light in it though!

Hi,

I'm with Red, Rob and Marcus on this one. I think the car simply looks better without any wing at all.

My '85 Turbo has two small rear deck spoilers (stock), but even these disturb the lines of the car IMO.

My friend, Dave, L., who has a '77 S1, has, I believe, the purest line of any of the Esprit models. Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE
