Hi,
Does anyone know which radiator is the oil cooler on an 88 Turbo? (or does it even have one?).
Is it the small one directly in front of the main radiator or is that the A/C radiator?
Thanks,
Mark
Mark,
The oil cooler is the very small radiator (325mm) wide. It had two 1" (approx.) hoses entering it from the bottom on either side. It is much smaller than either the radiator or the A/C condenser and 'lives' on the left hand side of the whole front radiator assembly. Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE
I figured it was that one. I don't even see the A/C condenser on my car (must be hidden back in there somewhere)
The reason for my question is that I have put a couple of extra VDO gauges in my car (one for intercooler water temp which is working fine, and one for oil temp). I want to be able to see when the oil gets up to operating temperature as it takes a lot longer than the regular cooling system (obviously). Don't like to "boot" the car until I know the oil is up to temp.
Thanks,
Mark
