clock on JVC s4s stereo???

I have tried everything but i cant set the clock on the original JVC stereo from my s4s. Does anybody with an s4s know how to set this???? Its one little thing i would like to set right!

Hi,

Disconnect the battery, set your alarm clock for 11:55PM, get up and run to the garage. Exactly at the stroke of midnight, reconnect the battery, the clock will show the correct time. Of course, I'm joking, but hey... it would work. Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE

I just love the diversity of messages that get posted on this board!

I dug out the manual for mine, and it says the following: With the time showing on the display, to hold down the DISP button and press the DOWN arrow to adjust the hours or the UP arrow to adjust the minutes. Simple enough, eh? :^) Now you can sleep through the night....

i tried it and it didnt work??? Its the JVC stereo from the s4s with the little highway lights on the screen... anyone else????
