I have noticed recently after sitting in a couple of S4S's and V8's that they seem to have considerably more leg room than my 88 Turbo, the foot pedals seem to be mounted closer to the floor. My question is: is there any way to mod my 88 Turbo to give me a little more leg room? I am 6'2" so it sure would be nice just to gain a couple more inches.

Thanks in advance for any help,

do a search on seats in this forum, there have been quite a few of these threads.

also on Esprit Fact File and kato's site there are other options including altering the pedals.

The interior size changed in 1992 with the introduction of the SE Highwing.

Lotus' Press release:

"A complete repackaging of the Esprit's dramatic interior has achieved significant extra space, to accommodate a far wider range of ''people sizes'' than ever before. Up to 14cm additional headroom, 4cm more leg-room, and up to 8cm more clearance between seat and steering wheel has been achieved. "

for info on creating more space for taller drivers.
