There is a station down the street from me that sells CAM2 racing fuel (100 octane). They say it is Sunoco GT 100 racing gas (sometimes called Sunoco Purple), unleaded and without any metallic compounds that can harm sensors or catalytic converters. Everything on the net seems to say its good stuff, doesn't kill car warranties, doesn't contain MMT, etc. Unlike regular gas, which apparantly begins to form varnishes after 60 days, this stuff keeps for up to 12 months, and more importantly, may make to car perform in top form. Avoided the station because I had never heard of the company (Sonomax, Solomex, or something like this). But stopped by today to get the lowdown. Let me know if anyone has tried it, and more importantly whether it is good/bad for the Esprit.
