Hi guys!!!
I'm planing to remove the stock cats on my V8 and add
new hi-flow cats(The Hi-flow cats are race-cats).The silencer should also be removed and stright pipes are going to be mounth.
What problems could I expect from this operation?Have
anyone else done it??

Check with Johan via his website for all modifications like this. He has done them all.

I have straite pipes with oem cats and no sound problems. Not sure how loud race cats are.

What is the increase in cfm flow with the race cats?

Actually, I don't recall Johan fitting different cats... removing them yes. However, Marcus at PUK Racing offers a set of metal cats as higher performance replacements. They are not cheap however and you still don't have stainless pipes from the turbos back.

D&T performance in Australia offer hi-flow cats too for V8's.

I have bought some cats from these guys but they are not fitted up yet.

Hi Niclas,

What about your Check Engine light?
What was the trouble code?

John.
