Hey there Johnny...

I was cleaning out our spam filter and work and it caught your email. I was just about to respond to you...

...Ted, Domster and some of the other lads are planning on taking me out for a "Ruby Murray" the night of the 7th. Since their nights out are things of legend, I'm afraid I cannot commit due to the fact that I will probably not wake up until, oh about midnight the next day

I would still like to meet some of the local Lotus folks, so if anyone wants to drive into Daventry after it's over, I am sure the place we are staying has a bar and I can probably be found in it, nursing my hangover...

I was really looking forward to viewing your Esprit, Johnny, as it is one of the nicest I have ever seen

OK, understand if you can't make it.

I don't know about anyone else but I won't get chance to call via Daventry on the way back as I have to get home earlyish for a serious bonfire party!

Still, by the time we're done, you'll be well topped up in time for Btap presumably?!

Thanks for the comments on my Esprit by the way - if only I could get it to gleam like yours (I suppose washing it occasionally might help....)
