Final Esprit production figure?

Now production has stopped,there must be a total, worldwide figure for all the Esprits ever made.
I remember the 10,000th being heralded not long ago, would be interested to know total,as in theory,this will not change now. Anyone?

This next one is impossible(without going via tax & licensing in every country),but i wonder how many are still alive too?

Esprit production hasn't finished yet! There are around 25 left on the production line. I will be getting a full updated figure in early 2004 from Lotus.

Lotus USA does a good job of keeping up with owners. While I am sure a few have slipped through the cracks, they can probably give you a very good estimate...

...on a related note (and maybe this deserves anothe topic - if it does I will start one); I think Lotus USA will really have to ramp up some personell after the Elise is introduced. I mean, supporting 100 odd new Esprit owners per year has to be easier than supporting (potentially) 3000 or so new Elise owners per year. Thoughts?

The Blue one is the last(UK)Esprit,
The black one on LEW other stuff is
the last(european)Esprit,
And the 25 on the line are the final
(overseas)Esprits?
