Add two more to that list,Mr Fish.
I'll be at meet (porridge pot 10am)in my S3 with a fellow Esprit owner,Tony,(his '85 turbo still in bits)as passenger.
Do they still have a parking area for us?,am currently trying to sell,so want to be in good position and not hidden amidst a hanger full of mainstream estate cars!
Am looking forward to this show very much. Pity it has to see the loss of GA.

All i want to do is veiw and chat (like on here),i do not understand or want any of the 'trimmings'.
There is a large thread about sunday that i am mute to now (but have read, thanks!),another hour spent tonight but no joy.
Have given up.

Bouncing happened to me once when I used to get the List messages emailed to my email acc. rather than use the web page.

I think it is when Yahoo tries to send you copies of the recent postings and your email doesn't accept them. Yahoo assumes your email account is invalid and then switches off access the other way aswell. So you can't post via email either.

You have to sort out your email end, make sure it is all working, then go to your Yahoo account and it has some instruction of how to turn your bouncing status back to normal.

You should then be back in the game.

This is from memory as it happened ages ago to me and I stopped using the email method shortly after.

I hope it helps.

Nicholas (no pun intended)

Thanks nick. I'm going off my original meet topic still, but it's relevent to me...
Now,my account says i'm bouncing still.
I send the 'reactivation request',as asked.
Yahoo send me an e-mail (to my now thankfully empty inbox),which i then reply to as asked.
Yahoo tell me i'm now reactivated, hurrah!.
I post on site.
Am told post is successful.
Post does not show.
Yahoo says i'm bouncing (544 times apparently) and to send 'reactivation' request'.
Yahoo send me an e-mail,which i reply to as asked...

On this dated and slow laptop, with the combined handicap of my lack of computer skills, This process takes ages each time. I love using this thing, and am in awe of what i can access now,but this kind of thing is too much like work!

I sympthise about running windows based stuff on slower generation computers. People say processor speeds double becuase of natural improvements and evolutions in technology, but I say need is the mother of invention, so Microsoft's lazy-ass programming that makes inefficient use of computer power is driving the need for technology to get faster... Oh damn, now I'm off topic...

Right, not sure why it happens, Iremember it took me two attempts to get Yahoo to kick back in.

I assume that when you post using the website, it also rejects you. Try doing this if you haven't already:

Repeat the procedure to clear your status, then got and edit your subscription to stop any emails being sent to you from the Yahoo Forum.

Wait... and then check again that your status was cleared, then try posting using the web page.

If there is still an issue, check your emailer is not treating Yahooo forum mail as "junk" and rejecting it. ie your junk mail filter.

Sometimes, this may happen because a lot of junkmailers use Yahoo, Netscape and MSN addresses to send junk emails...

Let's see..

Paul C - why not just read the messages on the web? ie just go to www.espritforum.co.uk? Much easier than reading everything in individual emails i find..
