Anyone any ideas/info about costs for the following sports Mods on a Giugiaro Turbo?:

1.Fancy a sports exhaust - not really seen one for a 'G' only a stainless steel unit? There seems to be a variety of standard exhausts I have seen from cars at shows with twin exiting pipes to single outlets?
Fancy a meater 'bark' - agreed the standard unit can sound a little 'tame' on tick-over but has anyone else heard the noise from a 'G' going past on full throttle! - very F1-ish howl...

2.ALso fany dropping the suspension set-up on my late G HC Turbo? The earlier Turbos had a lower ride height - my mates Essex squats much lower? I guess this height was factory raised/set for a purpose but the lower set-up looks great? Any ideas of costs and whats required?..............

I bought a stainless silencer from SJ Sportscars for £175+VAT. It is nicely made, sounds a little deeper than the standard box, but not too noisy. It fitted perfectly, bit has an o/d about half an inch less than the original, so theres a bit of fettling to do with the straps. It looks totally standard too. Recommended.

SJ can also sell you a car set of shockers with adjustable spring seats, which will allow you total freedom to screw up your suspension settings in search of the best looking ride height. I haven't tried them, so can't really comment, beyond advising extreme caution before buggering around with what God created. They aren't cheap either.

Good luck.
