lotus esprit turbo lower seat belt mounting point

i have just purchased a 1985 lotus esprit turbo its been restored but is not quite finnished, just interior to sort out, can anyone tell me how to reconnect the lower seat belt mounting bracket that passes through the slot in the sill box section, there does'nt seem to be any access to rebolt this bracket.
please help.

If you carefully peel the carpeting off the sill, starting at the point where it meets the floor and rear bulkhead, you should find an opening in the sill.
