S3 Turbo- After market Radiator fans?

After starting to put together my S3 after a lot of restoring of parts and re-conditioning, I assembled my 3 radiator fans.
These were previously dismantled and left in a box for re-conditioning (in 1991). Once together i ran the motors on a car battery (fully charged), and was dissapointed at the performance.
I have now received my 2004 Demon Tweeks catalogue and browsing through noticed Pacet fans. They look the Dogs!! Far more efficient than the prehistoric items i have on my Kitchen table right now and wondered if anyone out there had gone down this route of fitting after market radiator fans? and what you thought?

Take a look at the Spal's. They have an excellent reputation in MR2 circles for intercoolers. Much more efficient at moving air than even the Toyota OEM unit. I am probably going with the Spals when I get a chance.
