I got the wiper motor out, LOTS OF FUN, and found the plastic gear is shot. Any idea where I can get a new one?? JAE only sells new motors, complete with mounting bracket and arm. $440.00 Called the rebuilder in Hemmings, never called back.. Should I spring for a new one? $$$$ I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks

It might be from a TR7, worth looking into. At least that is what was fitted to the G body Esprits.

That would make sense. The controller is mounted just above your knee and is a Lucas 6A.
