Hi,

You're better off staying with the standard NGK plugs. Others have tried uprating their plugs with mixed results.

Exotic plugs rarely work any better, they merely run longer through the use of higher operating temps, exotic metal tips or both.

Virtually all those reporting an improvement in switching to a non-spec plug have nothing but anecdotal evidence to support their claims and many have actually switched back to the stock plugs after experiencing some problems.

On an ECU controlled car, you don't really want to go fooling around with the temperature range of the plugs as this could have consequences with the ECU's performance.

Keep the stock plugs, they're cheaper, so easier to replace often. Make sure your High tension leads are always in excellent shape and you'll be fine.Happy Motoring!... Jim'85TE
