I dont know how many of you are aware of this event, I also dont know if there is a planned lotus entry?

To those of you who dont know its a event held once a year. The 10 fastest cars from Ford, Nissan, Dodge etc etc... compete against each other in a number of events such as 1/4 mile, 0-60mph, Top speed and handling.

As far as Im aware there have been no lotus entrys.

Who would be intrested in taking part this year????
Its in august some time.

Hi,

I would not expect the Esprit to fare well in any but one of the categories, namely Handling. The car is simply not designed for Off-Line or Top Speed, not at all what it's about. Happy Motoring!...Jim'85TE

Karl,

Can you fit NOS to any motor or do you have to have fuel injection or other requirements.

I have a plan slowly forming but need to know in my mind whethwer it will work.

Hi,

NOS will go on any engine I have a book by David Vizard on tuning mini engines ( called tuning BL's A series engine) and there is a section about Nos in there.
