Seized Transmission Drain Plug
Discussion
Righty tighty, lefty loosey.
Mine took a little force to get off as well. I orignally tried to just twist it off with a pair of vice grips but that didn't work. I had heard you could bang on a 3/8 extension but I went the ritzy way and spent the 5 bucks on the square socket and it came off much easier.

Start with the right tool. If it is stuck that bad, get the snap-on 10mm square socket. Then, spray with penatrating oil (Marvel's, PB Blaster, WD40, etc.) let soak. Try to get off with breaker bar. You might also try taking it off after a run when it is hot. Also try putting an ice cube on the plug when it is hot. Try a heat gun on the aluminum. Mine was on tight.

Bit extreeme, but the engine drain plug on my Triumph Bonneville bike would not budge once, and got chewed up...
I got it out by welding a short bar about eight inches long to the bolt, to get some leverage, but had to take the engine out of the frame to get at it....
With my Bonnie, you'd just leave it a couple of weeks and all of the oil would have leaked out anyway....
I loved that bike. Kept it nine years, should never have sold it..
