Yes you need to change to rubber to one from SJ Sportscars. Apparently the hole for the roofs are different to cars that came with a factory glass roof as opposed to one that was supplied with a GRP roof. It was about £2.50/ LM as I recall and they can post it next day to you.
What are you doing with your old roof? Please e-mail me on dave@acsdesign.org to discuss.

If you have a Saratoga plexiroof one does not need to change the seal. If one has the real glass roof from later cars the seal will have to be changed.

Hi Dictys
Which color is the wind deflector?

Ben,
I think it is red as was his wrecked SE.
What is the bag going for?
It would be nice if I had a spare bag for my extra roof panel as I have both the smoked and GRP roofs.

I'm sorry lads,
The wind deflector and bag have gone to David Rooms who is presently building a second SE. He did ask a while ago but I had lost his email.
