Hi Matt,
I'm sorry but I'm not 100% sure as to the lights you refer to. I'm more up on the Stevens body and not real sure how they may differ underneith... However, if you are refering to the marker lights just in front of the front wheels... I think
Let me stress this...
I think...
There is an access hole from under the front quarter pannel just below the light bulb lens and assembly. You should not have to remove the front bumper at all.
I'll look on my 88' since you got me wondering myself now...
"Jim 85" would be the better info source than I. Good luck!
Drive topless!!!

Yep... Late hour... that sounds good. I'm not sure how I got these lights crossed up in my head, but the access hole I refer to above will only get you the fog lamps...
As soon as I can, I'm going to investigate the pathway to the front side marker lamps (as that is what I think you may be refering to in your question).
More later,
Drive topless!!!

Okay, now that it is not late... it is cold, wet, and the weather sucks... but it is not late...
Here is all I can offer:
The front side marker lamps are easily reached by opening the bonnet. Removal, bulb change, cleaning, replacing, whatever....
The front running lamp/turn indicators are accessable by removing the orange cover (two phillips head screws on the front). The orange lens pops off allowing access to the twin bulbs inside. The actual lamp housing (black back part of the assembly) appears to be rivited on my car and therefore I would say not easily removed.
It looks as if the wires, lenses, bulbs, and weather sealer should all be replaced 'around' the back part of the assembly. Of course, if the assembly needs to replaced.... I don't know. I'd have to get in there and look real hard at how I would do it...
Sorry, no real info...
Drive topless!!! (Okay... it IS REALLY TIME for this crappy weather to go up north!!! This is the South... Sorry Jim...)
