How long have you had to wait for parts?
Discussion
Most consumables, timing belt, brake pads etc. are readily available locally.
I have got a few bits from sjsportscars. I am about as far from England as you can get (southern New Zealand). Delivery is 1 to 2 weeks for standard courier and less than a week for express delivery. JAE provided prompt delivery from the States taking 4 days for a new rear hub.

I've been very pleased with parts availability in the US for my '95 S4s. I've never had to wait any longer than it takes to ship from LCU. Off the top of my head, that includes parts for a full transaxle rebuild including 2nd gear, front lower control arms and bushings, a coolant header tank, and a 104 cam gear.

So you have an S4s. That is actually the other car I am considering. It's either a white 90SE or a black 95 S4s. I like the fact that the 95 has so many refinements, but don't like the color. Black would practically disappear. It's like you're driving an exotic and no one would notice, no? I would love to repaint it in Titanium but the interior is grey. I also think the rear wing must get irritating as it is always in the way of hatch access. Have you found that to be irritating?
Thanks!

I prefer that it's "understated", relatively speaking. It seems to keep the number of teenage boys (the only ones who care) who ask if it has "naws" and think I should race their buddy's VEEE-tech to a minimum.

It's more irritating that you can't see out the rear window very well.

You shouldn't have any major problems sourcing parts. You can order a glass roof and fixings from SJ Sportcars in UK. There is also a wealth of knowledge here for finding out what the parts are off to make buying cheaper. Best of luck.
