Hello all,
I am hearing a buzzing noise, kinda like a piezo buzzer, when I use my turn signal in either direction. It is intermitant, but is getting worse. The last few times the buzz was constant and the turn signal lamps just stay on and won't blink. I am thinking this is the flasher thats causing the problem. The noise is definatly coming from inside the binicle in the area behind the tach. Any ideas suggestions on where to look for the problem?

Hi,

On the S1, S2 and Turbo, the flasher is located under the dash between the steering column and the center console, maybe on the S4 too..??

I would turn the flashers on, assume the Lotus position and home in on the sound. Hope this helps. Happy Motoring!... Jim'85TE

I found it. I was right behind the tach, wire tied to one of the wiring harnesses. A normal replacement flasher from NAPA fixed the problem.
