I've got a 90 SE that has the problem most of you have, lots of cracks in the lamination over the wood and general poor apperance. Is there any solution for this, that is, does anyone offer replacements, overlays, upgrades, etc.? If not, this is a perfect opportunity for someone to make some cash, I'd easily pay $200 for a replacement to my dash, it looks henious.

I did find a S4 carbon fiber panel on Ebay but it was gone before I could even bid on it, auction ended early.

Thanks,
Ron

Ron,

Check out these guys. They used to make some really nice pieces for the early Esprits. If not stocked, they can custom veneer your existing pieces in a variety of woods or even CF. Hope this helps. Happy Motoring! ...Jim'85TE

As a matter of fact, I am working on mine this week. I am going a different route. I have stripped off the split veneer, filled the cracks and scratches in the plywood with wood filler and just yesterday sprayed it with automotive primer. I am going to spray with black wrinkle paint if I can find it or maybe just flat black.

If you wish to keep the original look there is a person Hemmings that refinishes the wood. I have been told that he may even have replacement pieces
