my 95 s4s driver door outside handle is damaging the paint when you lift the handle..
as you lift it, it rubs along the top edge.
I will pull the door panel off one day and take a look, but if it is common, please tell me what I am up against.
I still dont like how I have to log in twice here to post something, with the time it takes, it is a deterrant to me to post more often...
is there a way to avoid this??

Haven't heard of that one yet myself so I wouldn't say it is common. Mine doesn't rub.

Take the door panel off and have a look.

As for the signing in, maybe try enabling "cookies" in your settings. I rarely ever have to log in to post or reply. Maybe Ernest can help.

I think you nailed it Jim. Cookies and/or perhaps some incompatibility with any firewall that might be running are usually the two reasons why multiple signing in is a problem...

It can also be if the internet setting is on other than default if the security features have been altered.

Never seen that one before. The handle should be fine unless it has been bent ot the it has been repainted.

I haven't had any problems w/the door handles on my S4S.

As for the logging in, I never could do it from the Esprit Fact File website. I just use the pistonheads URL without any problems.

My 94' S4 does the same thing on the drivers side, but I haven't had a chance to take a close look at it.

Be sure to post what you find.
