What are causes of No spark for 97 V8?

Does anyone have the scoop on what could cause no spark for a 97? I have been trying to sort out my problem for over a month and I am out of ideas.
It stopped running while pulling away from an intersection.
The only trouble codes were 441 and 451 emissions codes (USA only). I now think that these were triggered after the engine shut down and was still in gear as Larry's race car runs them not connected. The
roll over valve is in the proper vertical position.
I got no codes for the sensor or cam sensor but there is no spark. I check continuity for the sensors to the ECU and they are good.
What else can cause no spark?
