Hi Folks I have recently joined the Forum after being pointed here by KYLIE(Many thanks Kylie)

I have made many mods to my car and am interested in posts from folks who have modded their PRE-Stevens cars.

Some of my mods are detailed on my website:

Kevin

Hey my pleasure!!

Just wondering if you have done any mods to the interior? Do you use a race seat for track days?

Hi Kylie

No, I have found the existing seats ok. However I do have a pair of "Racetech" seats(made here in NZ)FIA approved ones, out of my Camaro, and they do fit very nicely, tucked in the seat well.

There model number is #4009.

Racetech are only about 15 miles away from where I live and are now exporting to the USA, The VIPER team cars use them amongst many others. They can be found at:

www.racetech.co.nz/

I am trying to keep the car as a road car as well and adding alternate seats just adds to the certification problems. Already with the adjustable spring height on the rear I may have to get a LVVC approval.

Cheers
Kevin

Hi,

I'm a recent newcomer. I have taken on a part finished project Esprit S1. The car has a Rover V8 fitted but hasn't yet made it on the road since the conversion. I am currently sorting out the bodywork etc.

It also has nicely sorted suspension etc, not sure on the brakes yet, one of the handbrake calipers is stiff and the electrics are shagged.

Hope to have it on the road this year (or maybe next!) - depends if I can suss out how it fits together.

Steve.

Hey Kevin

I tried your web site but couldn't get it to load properly. The pictures wouldn't display. I'm interested in your modifications since my 83 is in restoration phase.

Here is my poor attempt at a website

Have a good one,
