Water leak on passengers side?

Well, I had to drive my car in the rain this weekend. I noticed a good leak on the passengers side foot space. It starts at the frpnt of the mat by the floor, and I dont know where it comes from. There is some sort of drain looking hole on the under carriage. Anyone know where a leak could be?

Hi,

I suspect that the water is coming from a clogged AC condensate drain. If you go under the car, you'll see a small bit of hose extruding from under the passenger side footwell, this is for AC condensate. If clogged, it will back up into the passenger footwell inside the car.

Rain water entering the intake holes on the top of the bonnet will also drain through this AC drain.

Take a piece of fairly stiff wire, say from a coat hanger and gently work it up the hose from the underside. I say gently because it isn't a straight run and you do not want to puncture the hose or upset the seals. Also, work from the side as you may get splashed pretty good if you don't. I had this problem for a while. I ended up squirting a bleach solution up the hole with a, "body" flushing bulb. Apparently the moisture there causes some mold to form in time and only bleach will get rid of it. The metal probe didn't work, The mold covered the hole.
