Assuming we are talking SE era, Try Jag 87-90 XJS Coupe which should be a drop in replacement, right side Jag for your left side, and other Bosch Jag motors such as an 87 XJ6 will work with 3 spacers which you can machine or have made probably a lot cheaper than buying a rebuilt motor (U$250).

done it to confirm that it works a treat, thanks to Dr.Hess
You don't need spacers per sea, you just need some washers to shim the XJ6 motors up. Pete and I just did this two weekends ago on two cars, easily done and the motors can be had for $90 from this Jag Used parts place you'll find on the net by searching. It is where I got mine, just can't remember the name. Just make sure to ask them to pull you motors that have good bearings, that is, they don't wobble around the gear.
I bought my spare motors on eBay for less than U$20 ea, delivered. Here's my search:

I _suppose_ you could use some washers, but I have this lathe and some stock, so...

Before you replace the motor it might be worth attempting to fix it. Quite often one or both of the magnets insde the motor come away and just need re-fixing into place. A very easy task that I have done on my Esprit (Sadly sold yesterday.) There's a writeup on the Esprit Fact File.
Cheers,
Richard.
