REAR BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT ON X180
Discussion
This takes a few goes to get right. Took me about 40 mins first time, now I can do it in 3 mins.
You'll need an extra pair of hands to hold the caliper to make it easier. Then bend one end of one side tab back. Slot the other end in, then use a screwdriver to flatten the bend in the clip and push it inbetween the pad and caliper. Then bend the tab back.
Drove me mad first time!

If you plan on ever doing a brake job again, I suggest going to Sears and picking up the brake piston tool. I am sure a regular auto parts store has them too but I got mine at Sears. It is this block of metal that has little feet on it that lock into the grooves of the pistons. They are at every corner and are various shapes for various pistons. It then attaches to a 3/8" socket for easy ratcheting action. I use mine all the time and it is the best $5 I have ever spent!
