Sad News - Rapier Racing

I am speechless and very upset. Our dear friend, and very talented driver and just genuine nice man Zach Zarcadoolas left us last night. Zach died of a heart attack.
Zack was the co-driver for the Lotus-sponsored Rapier Racing Team which is campaigning two '03 Esprit V8's in this season's Grand Am Cup. Zack was a great guy and a good friend. The first time I was ever on a racetrack was with him driving me at full speed at Road Atlanta in a brand new Esprit V8 back in 1996. I just got an email from him this Saturday. He was telling me about some of the developments with the team and he really sounded excited about the changes.
I will miss him very much and I'm sure the rest of my Florida and Georgia Lotus friends will too.

Sorry to hear the news Karl, if you don't mind me saying he looks quite young and fit, not the age group I would amagine to fit into that "Heart attack" category. Thats a huge loss to everyone. Hope his family and close friends are coping o.k.
