Nor Cal Newbie Needs Help

Looking to purchase a late model (2000-2002)/newused V8 but cannot seem to locate consolidated owner experience info on them. Have gotten some good info from the GG Lotus Club, but feel like I cannot educate myself on recent model years. Most articles are focusing on the 2006 replacement while postings here seem to concentrate on older Esprits.

Can anyone point me to first hand experiences and/or suggestions to assist me in my buying decision? All input on purchasing decisions, reliability and ownership is welcome and appreciated.
