Replaced my rear light clusters for new ones...
Discussion
I got some new rear light clusters for my birthday the other day, was a complete surprise, mine had slight cracks through the lenses but this little project was well down on the list of things to do. So was pretty happy to bring this project forward. Today was a good day to put them in and took about an hour mucking around, someone done it before would take a lot less time than I did. Simon made me do the whole thing by myself
as he said I need to learn more about that kinda stuff and good for my skills, yeah right!!! Kato I wanted to use your guide on LEW but the procedure comes up with an error. Turned out not that hard, just eight nuts off each light to take off, four screws behind the plinth to remove and disconnect the electrical plugs and viola! its out. Thought about doing the fog light conversion while there but I will leave that one for Simon to help me out.
I couldn't reach over the side far enough to see what I was doing, so in I popped, plenty of room in there for me and the fibreglass floor is very strong, not sure if it would take some of you heavy weights out there though?. Its not a very glam shot of me in my woolly jumper, but oh what the heck
One light out, one to go, yes that's my gym shoe in there.
She looks horrible and naked without her lights, was a good opportunity to clean-up the polishing slops that got down behind the lights.
Brand spanking new lights, they look great!
