Got tickets for Sat but with travelling from North Devon I reckon it's better to travel Friday and get B&B somewhere nearby.

Any recomendations? pref a Pub or not too expensive Hotel

thanks

Good luck getting a hotel anywhere near goodwood, the nice ones get booked nearly a year in advance and a lot of B&Bs will be fairly full. There are a lot of pubs near goodwood and most of the are nice so you can't really go wrong with them bar a handful that look a bit average.

Hope that helps a bit.

Good luck! The dates are officially announced in Spring then bookings take off.

Search for accommodation in Chichester; main city for Goodwood.

We made this mistake last year. Absolutely everything was booked up within a massive radius of Goodwood.

We ended up camping - even then most sites were already full!

Suggest you try Portsmouth - honest its about the closest you will get and set of very early to meet the traffic around about Eastleigh.

Sorted, staying in Cranleigh, approx 40 minute drive to Goodwood, should be able to shave a few minutes off that in the Cerb wink

Don't try. West Sussex police keep themselves very busy over the days of FoS and Revival with people doing just that wink

Cut down the back roads from there but avoid Petworth

Better still, look around Bognor Regis, Selsey or towards Littlehampton. Routes North to Goodwood are clear so long as you avoid the A27 as far as possible.
