Driving advice to Goodwood on Sunday

Guys I'm driving from London, what time should I leave London, the sat nav reckon 1hr & 50mins on a good day door to door. What roads should I avoid please?

As early as possible! Today we got to the outskirts of Chichester for 8.30am thinking we'd be OK.....we weren't. It took us 4 hours to do the last 4 miles and we didn't see any on track action until after midday. I would leave London at 6am at the very latest if I were you!

Crikey! Not good. Although, makes me feel even better that I went for 'Plan B' when I saw the rain in the morning - delayed our approach: we could have been with you at Chichester for about 8.30 if I'd stuck to my original plan, but delayed our departure until after 10 and got into the car park a bit over 2 hours later (20 miles!)
