Revival, Missed my chace for Saturday, what about Sunday?

As per title, I've missed out on Saturday tickets. Is Sunday just as good?
I would like to go in period costume for obvious reasons, but what era's are acceptable? I have a Gulf "Steve McQueen Le Mans" style jacket, but what else can go with this and be 'period'? I see a lot of people just wear a tweed looking suit, but fancy something a bit more 60's racer.
Ideas?

Sunday is just as good. You'll have the second heat if the two part races plus the single heat Sunday races which are just as good as the races on Saturday. The last race on Sunday is usually a big race. If you stay to the end there is a prize giving on the start finish straight afterwards.
60s racer type dress is fine, lots of people wear mechanics overalls as well as those dressed in suits and uniforms. As long as you get in the spirit that is the most important thing.
