My unofficial view is... unless it has changed this year, then yes you will be able to attend the cricket match. You don't need a ticket.

All being well, I will start my weekend on the Thursday watching the match.

Light is a bit dull, but Cricket match is happening. No checks for badges, so everyone should be able to get in.
