Hello,
Have been invited on Saturday.
Any idea how long it may take to get to the track from Guildford A3 area by car ?
Also any good times to arrive/times to avoid ?
Many thanks

I would normally be on the road for about 06:30 and you should get straight in.
Leave it late and it will take longer.
Might be a stupid comment but if travelling early - look out for deer and other wild life who sometimes jump out if you are 'first on the road' on the way down through Petworth.
I would come off the A3 at Milford (just after the BP) and then down through Petworth.
I will get shot by the Duke if I suggest this, but I would ignore the yellow signs and stay on the road through Halnaker and in on New Road.

I notice that the gates will only open for the general public at 08:30 this year
Apologies - yes that is true, I was speaking as a GRRC member! If trying to arrive at 08:30 the drive from Guildford will take longer.
I guess that leaving Guildford at 06:30 you should get there at 07:30... leaving at 07:30 will probably get you there at 09:00 to 09:30
I think if you get there too early, then 'over the road' is open to all ticket holders - so still something to look at whilst waiting for circuit access.
PS. Take care through Petworth - there is a Speedwatch group that is active early in the morning.
No problems with this - no one should be belting through the village.

sometimes they have had marshals turning you right into Redvins Road at Halnaker.
The same for the other approach to New Road; they turn you round at Sheepwash Lane.
Very grateful for your advise.
We got to the general car park about 5 minutes before 7am and were probably amongst the first 50 cars there.
A wonderful - if a triffle warm - day for a couple of Revival virgins.

heads know best and treated New Road as use both lanes then found an event truck in the way. It gets opened for both lanes when the signs go up.
