Revival Camping Pitch Size
Discussion
Hello,
With regards to camping at the Revival, is anyone able to advise as to how strict the 9mx7m camping pitch is enforced. In other words, if the tent guy lines go over the allotted pitch then will there be issues? Also, the guidelines say that the vehicle must also be parked within the pitch - what if there is no room for the tent, guy lines & car? Does the car have to go to a nearby car park?
Thanks

I camp in Campsite E so not sure if it applies tot he other campsite.
They generally mow the pitch size into the grass, and you should be able to park your vehicle in the pitch with you. If you can if it sticks out a little its no biggie.
How big is you camping setup and vehicle ? as 9x7m is usually big enough

Campsite E and H have exactly the same size pitches - I have camped on both. My tent is 7.5 by 3.5m and there is still space to park two reasonably sized cars on the pitch as well. If your guy lines encroach on another camper's pitch they may find that unacceptable other campers pitches will be on three sides unless you're at the end. Otherwise you can usually stick out a bit into the road with guy lines but bear in mind they might be run over.
I usually only peg out the bare minimum guy line wise anyway unless a tropical storm is forecast. As far as I am aware there isn't another car park to park extra cars. However its all quite good natured and the thing to do is nothing ridiculous.
