Grandstand?

Going to the FOS tomorrow - and unlike the last time I went (a couple of years ago) made the mistake (I think?) of not getting grandstand access.

Can you pay for grandstand access on the day - or am I stuffed?

I doubt it. I also wanted a grandstand ticket but it seems they sold out about a week ago. Hopefully it will be possible to buy them on the day, especially with the forecast showers.

Apparently there are good "free" areas to watch from, in front of the house and by the flint wall are very good, from what I can remember when researching this.

Can anyone recommend these spots or any other good spots on the course?
