I managed to speak to both Christian and Adrian Newey about the RB5. I asked Adrian about the thinking behind using pull rods instead of push rods on the suspension, he said it was simply to allow the car to sit lower and tidy up the aerodynamics a bit. So now I know . They are both really nice guys and seemed to enjoy talking shop even on a semi day off.
