FoS Friday

Now then.

I've not been to the FoS for a few years (4 or 5?) but am planning on going this year.

Last time I went to the Friday only and enjoyed the more relaxed atmosphere and lack of crowds.

Does anyone know any reason why this wouldn't be the case again?

Its much more crowded on the friday than it used to be, but still better than the weekend

Judging by last year and all the freebie tickets they gave out for the friday, every day is a bad (or good) as the others!

I think the Friday is now the busiest day due to all the freebie tickets given away.

Quite amusing your reference to the Freebies and an add right next to it prompting people to buy them..



Anyone know if / when freebies will be around this year?

If The Times is sponsoring the event then it is likely that there will be some freebies this year.. But they are leaving the announcment later to encourage ticket sales

IIRC, last year it was the end of May/1st week in June when you could register.

Swapped to Saturday for the first time this year - having been a regular Friday-goer for a number of years... hmm... hope it's not too mad busy.

Still no sign of tickets?
