Any suggestions for campsites for the Revival?

I ask because for many FoS's and Revivals, I camped in the car park/field at the Anglesey Arms in Halnaker, and had my evening meals there...plus social drinks etc.

Unfortunately with Roger's death in January, the atmosphere has now changed somewhat and is more in line with the son ( George)'s idea of how things should be run.
The campsite tariff has now increased to £10 a night, and there are no facilities unless their pub is open during opening hours( and that's only one toilet for ladies and gents)...there's a cleaner's window for a few hours from 7am.

It was so crowded last weekend for the FoS, that I'm looking for suggestions for a quiet campsite close to Goodwood for the Revival - any suggestions welcomed smile
I think I've outgrown the Anglesey...or they've outgrown me.

I stayed at Lakeside Holiday Park (called Southern Leisure sometimes). I didnt camp as my mum doesnt camp. ever.
It's about 3 miles or so from Goodwood
But the place was fine, has full facilities and was manned 24 hours.
Hope that helps =)

Unfortunately they only seem to do caravans not camping, otherwise the site looks good.

Depends on how far you want to be from Goodwood. There's a Camping and Caravan Club site just south of Petworth. There's another C&CC site at Southbourne, west of Chichester.

Close to Goodwood but has washroom facilities available. I've been googling and there is New house Farm camp site in East Dean which looks promising.

We always stay at lakeside http://www.parkholidaysuk.com/uk-holiday-parks-car... and camp in our tents - and did again this year smile

If camping in a tent you can either have a normal pitch in the touring field, or you can have an electrical pitch for your tent smile

Good people and recommended, never more than 15 mins from there to car parked at FOS
