I've been going to the Goodwood FOS for almost 10 years now and noticed that since the Rally stage opened, less and less of them are now running up the hill? Or is this just a Friday thing??

They used to all run up the hill (205 T16, Stratos, Delta, Quattro, Cossie) but now only stick to the rally stage...

I suppose it's fair enough, but there's rarely time to get all the way up to the Rally stage, and still see the F1's, Le-Mans cars etc run up the hill so i just think it's a bit of a shame the old Rally cars don't at least make one run up the hill??

Kris Meeke and the Skoda did the hill and then went from the top paddock into the Rally stage.

Yeah i saw that, and Mr Block in his Focus but i'm talking about all the older stuff - Especially the Group B cars?

Yes i too think its a bit of let down to not see more classic rally cars on the hill first (more fast sideways action!).would of been nice to see the lancia integrales and peugeot t16 putting on a show smile. yes the forest rally stage is ok (but its a bit naff to real rally fans, truth be told) a long wait between each car run on stage and the stupid long waits for a crossing to open again sleep

I have to be honest and say I prefer to see them in their element on the rally stage getting sideways kicking up the dust (of which I have to say there was plenty on Sunday morning!)

True smile ,But it would be nice to see them go up the hill and then on to the rally stage (like the wrc, irc cars) that way you see the cars even if you stay by the hill climb !
