To balance out my beer and food consumption I have decided to get my bike back on the road rather than joining a gym so I got the pump out and off I peddled. Here's the thing, the routes I take generally involve about 60% woods and 40% roads and I want a tyre that makes both comfortable. Now I know that riding is not supposed to be easy but I like the smoothness of a road tyre on the road but I know that it ain't gonna cut the mustard in the woods, so is there an in-between tyre?
I can see already that this is going to end up costing me some cash, not the tyres but I already want to get myself a new lighter hard tail frame!!
